I moved to St. George in 2013 from Salem, Oregon. I completed my undergraduate program with George Fox University and completed my graduate program with Grand Canyon University. I love walking with people on their healing journey. I have had the privilege of working for non-profit agencies and private practices during my internship and feel blessed to have been exposed to many types of situations, issues, personalities, behaviors, and cultures. I have taken each adventure and used it to grow and learn. I recognize that talking to someone in a therapeutic setting can be intimidating, generally most people find it uncomfortable to talk to a stranger about the things that bother them or hurt them. I understand and respect the personal caution and want to assure you that at no time will I judge you or your situation. The basic premise is to help people in a trauma-informed setting gain new coping skills because the ones used in the past are no longer affective. I believe in helping people look inside themselves and find their own answers that fit within their value system and learn problem-solving skills to help you work through issues on your own in a healthy way. Fun facts about me: I am a bit of a nerd, I love to learn. In my spare time I refurbish old furniture, paint, and work on my old “fixer-upper” house. I love to spend time with my family and neurotic dog just putting around, working in my garden, or daydreaming about big adventures.
